According to the statistics, during Jan. to Apr. of this year, Shanghai Municipality altogether approved 1224 foreign direct investment projects, with the contractual foreign investment of USD 4.328b, down by 7.19% year-on-year, forecasting the actual utilization of foreign investment of approx USD2.7b, up by approx 2%. In April, there were 315 projects approved, with contractual foreign investment of USD1.155b.
