We are honored to invite you to attend “2011 International LP&GP Summit “, January 22nd and 23rd, 2011, in Shanghai. The summit is co-hosted by China Venture Capital Research Institute, PE Association of Shanghai, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and China Society for WTO Studies.

The venture capital market in China is set to expand over the next five years even while it contracts across many developed nations like the United States and much of Europe. With the rapid recovery of economy after the crisis and the high market value of NASDAQ-like growth enterprise board (GEB),China’s VC/PE market have become significantly booming recently, and many general partners (GP) have a strong desire for refinancing after they arrange a series of investment.

While, qualified foreign limited partners (LP) are expected to directly invest in an onshore RMB Fund. A trial program propose by Shanghai Municipal Government, known as qualified foreign limited partner program(“QFLP”), has been approved　“in principle”　by central government in early October 2010. The Trial Plan will open a gateway for the conversion of foreign exchange into RMB, which has been a major factor hindering foreign GP and LP from becoming involved in the RMB PE fund industry.

 “2011 International LP&GP Summit “aim to provide an efficient communication platform for GPs and LPs. It will draw 100 LPs (including Pension Fund, Insurance Fund, Family Office, etc.) from Europe, America, Middle East, Asia (including China local LPs like Social Security Fund, China Development Bank, etc.), 100 excellent GPs who has been investing in China with good performance, and 100 Chinese private capitalist & bankers.

The forum will provide hot topics discussion, networking dinner, match-making symposium and other good activities. It is an important stage for people of insight in the venture capital & private equity circle in China and abroad to show their wisdom, discuss the forefront subjects and future development.
