Lately, Maanshan Steel held hand with Union Electric Steel Corp., the world biggest forging hardened steel manufacturer to jointly cast roller. With the development of steel & iron industry, the demand for roller from domestic steel & iron enterprises increased day after day in the past several years and exceeded the supply. As Maanshan Steel is turning to be an international steel & iron group, their demand for roller has also risen sharply. The JV project signed this time will develop, process, produce and sell large forging steel supporting roller and will launch in 2009. After launch, it can not only meet the needs to Maanshan Steel but also can supply to the surrounding steel mill.
