China's industrial profits soar 20.9% in 1st 5 months

China's industrial firms reported 1.094 trillion yuan (158.6 billion U.S. dollars) of profits in the first five months of this year, up 20.9 percent from a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said on Friday.
