China steps up efforts against speculative capital inflows

World crude oil futures fell on Tuesday ahead of energy stockpiles report, as concerns over supply eased.

Light, sweet crude for August delivery lost 1.41 dollars to 67. 77 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Brent crude for August delivery fell 1.19 dollars to settle at 70.17 dollars a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange in London.

U.S. Energy Department will release its weekly energy report on Wednesday. The analysts expected crude oil inventories will rise further.
