On March 1st, the Supreme People's Court of P.R.China issued the Provisions of the Supreme People's Court on Issues concerning Property Investigation during Enforcement in Civil Procedures.
Aimed at resolving issues such as inadequate reporting of property by the parties and ineffective punishment, the Provisions regulate the investigating and verifying procedures for property reporting, detail the measures to punish judgment debtors who fail reporting obligations, and particularly stress the credit discipline of judgment debtors who fail reporting obligations.The regulation will be enforced May 1st this year.
